Sanford Welcomes Guardians of Justice for Spring Break
Spring Break 2025 is well underway at BrightStart, and things got a super boost Wednesday at Sanford with a visit from our friends from the Guardians of Justice!
Dropping in for high-fives and hugs: Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Gwen, Princess Tiana and Mulan.
Mulan was of course accompanied by Mushu.
The appearance of superheroes off the panel (and the screen) got the Sanford crew off the chain in short order.
BrightStart patients and staff dressed for the occasion with a mix of hero representation.
Some of our small patients just enjoyed the sights, but the Room Four crew put the heroes to the test with a set of challenges in the play area.
Full credit to our visitors, who were unaware that our patients had been undergoing intensive top-secret training in our therapy lab. The kids were therefore enabled to lay a definitive smackdown in steel bar bending, tug-of-war, board-breaking and more.
Showing what makes a real superhero, our visitors were exceptionally gracious in their competition and a fantastic time was had by all.
