Health Department Partners Visit Sanford Center

Families that need PPEC find their way to BrightStart in a variety of ways.

The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County has been a dedicated and reliable provider and resource to families in the community. The Seminole WIC program took time out of their busy schedule to visit the BrightStart Sanford center for a first hand look at how PPEC patients get their nursing, therapy and love.

BrightStart President Linda Brown toured the Seminole WIC guests and answered questions about the PPEC program.

WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a federally funded nutrition program that provides healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and more.

Seminole WIC serves the county from two locations: at the Florida Department of Health main office on Airport Blvd., and a location in Casselberry.
