Yes, it’s pretty hot every year on the first Saturday in June – but the coolest kids and their families were at the Make ‘m Smile event at Lake Eola in downtown Orlando. The event is sponsored by Nathaniel’s Hope and draws tens of thousands of visitors.
BrightStart Pediatrics has been part of this terrific annual event for so many years that we can remember when it was almost small! And like the years before it, we had so much fun meeting new people, seeing our many healthcare partners, and our BrightStart families.
One of these faces is not like the others … 
The event is always an opportunity to introduce our PPEC program to families and providers. Better yet, in this setting we’re able to highlight our personal connection with our patients and families. Seeing our BrightStart families this year was full of surprises: tears, laughter and simple amazement at the lives we’ve been able to touch.
Paint On a Happy Face
For a few years now our trio of face painters (Claudia, Jael and Yazmin) have transformed little faces into every kind of character you can imagine. This year we had compliments from families who visited us last year, and came looking for us just to get glittered up again! We look forward to seeing those faces again next year. Thank you to everyone who visited for their patience and courtesy as we managed some pretty long lines!
Our BrightStart crew worked on their tans while they handed out stickers, a few temporary tattoos, and more smiles than we can count.
