Our regular regime of nursing, therapy and love was on the road again!
While our BrightStart Sanford center is busy with a few housekeeping projects, it’s a perfect time for a field trip – or road trip, whichever you prefer. This time our gang went to Oviedo for some fun and interaction at O2B Kids Oviedo.
O2B Kids is a unique setting for education, play, and fun, located in the Oviedo Mall. BrightStart patients had an incredibly busy day with activities: paint, clay, dancing, gymnastics and more.
After that, it was time for the classic food-court takeover, where everyone was re-fueled with a hearty lunch from Chick-Fil-A. Thanks to an awesome display model, the children were able to make a firm decision about the next BrightStart company vehicle, which will apparently be a Chevrolet Camaro.
If it weren’t for a pesky schedule, the mall-crawl might have gone on into the evening. However, Nurse Karen did soften the sting of departure with balloons for everyone – how cool is that? Pretty cool!
