We’re growing at BrightStart Winter Garden! This is our second spring break celebration and our very first spring break field trip for our newest center.
Some of our gang took a jaunt downtown to get in touch with our local roots, with help from the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation, where we visited the Heritage Museum and the Central Florida Railroad Museum. (In keeping with the spirit of Florida’s railroad history we donned appropriate train engineer attire.)
Our very gracious and helpful guide Mr. Jim Crescitelli got us acquainted with lake life – and wildlife – as well as some history of the local citrus industry. Then there was a an exploration of a real caboose, a view of thousands of pieces of railroad artifacts and memorabilia, and – best of all – a toy train and track!
