Spring is springing!

Spring is in full swing at BrightStart Pediatrics PPEC centers!

May got started with a visit from Dr. Christy Grenz DO, a pediatric resident with Orlando Health. Dr. Grenz had heard of PPEC but this was her first hands-on experience. Program Director Linda Brown provided a tour of the Winter Garden center, and Nursing Director Karen Peters provided clinical insight.

*We’re not just celebrating **Nurses Week** and **Cinco de Mayo** this month.*

*Winter Garden also hosted The Running of The Triplets.*

Turns out it’s an Irish thing, known there as **Rith na dtríphléid.**

*BrightStart’s Spring Talent Show try-outs are underway.*

*Competition this year is positively fierce.*

Dr. Grenz’s visit came on a busy day for patients, and perfect weather for the playground. She made many new friends and met her hug quota for the day!

*Nacho average display: **BrightStart Orlando** has raised the nacho bar to a new level.*

This month is just full of celebrations. National Nurses Week is underway, with lots of food and gifts for BrightStart nurses, therapists, and care staff. And did we mention the food? At BrightStart Sanford Tuesday it was a double celebration with a taco bar for Cinco de Mayo.

BrightStart’s nursing, therapy and love comes from a great staff, and we are celebrating everyone.

We appreciate our RNs, LPNs, therapy team, aides and transport staff who bring the sunshine to our wonderful patients. Thank you!
