Sanford Splash-o-rama!

Things are cool at the pool

Thursday saw the BrightStart Sanford crew roll out for a splash under sunny skies.

To add to the party the center welcomed three students from Orange Technical College’s Practical Nursing Program. The trio, who attend the Avalon Park campus, spent the morning at the center getting a firsthand look at what nursing, therapy and love really looks like. (And it looks a lot like being splashed, in case you were wondering.)

Spontaneous summer introductions, step one: Get a visitor’s attention by splashing them.
Step two: Make sure they acknowledge you.
Step three: Get someone to caputure the moment that they were not really expecting.

We’re so glad to have the opportunity to show our program at work, and congratulations to them and their fellow students, who graduate on July 23rd.

Thanks again to our visitors, and thanks for the support from Practical Nursing Instructor Nancy Foley, who made the ‘field trip’ possible.
