Mild Weather, Busy January

We Check in at Sanford and Winter Garden

New staff receive a thorough clinical orientation and a hula hoop test.

Rough winter weather? Not so much at BrightStart! Mild winter temperatures were welcome at BrightStart PPEC centers this week.

Nursing and therapy staff were busy with our patients and there are always plenty of smiles to go around.

His Mom says he isn’t, but this patient looks a lot like SuperBaby …
… but you never see them together. Makes you think, doesn’t it?

Music therapy weighed a few notes with patients at BrightStart Sanford, and the pre-schoolers made the most of the playground.

Earlier in the week, BrightStart Winter Garden welcomed a new friend Dr. Benjamin Becker MD, a pediatric resident with Orlando Health.

The Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care model was new to Dr. Becker, who got a tour of the facility with Program Director Linda Brown. He also spent quality clinical time with Nursing Director Karen Peters and made plenty of new friends among the patients.

Thinking about how your cold weather stuff is ready to be packed away, and there’s still the holiday decorations and the tree to deal with.

We’ll check in with BrightStart Orlando soon. For now let’s tie things up with a few smiles – take a peek at out latest photo gallery!
