Thursday: The Itsy-Bitsy Pizzas
It’s not just nursing, therapy and love – BrightStart Sanford had a new look and new menu as a pizzeria!

To observe a milestone birthday, the Benfield family provided decorations, costumes and food for the preschoolers and for the BrightStart staff.
The nursing and therapy staff were also transformed (by way of magic bandanas) into the super kitchen and serving staff for Make Your Own Pizza time.
Sure, everyone loves pizza, but making your own pizza … that’s something else. In order to bring the most authentic experience, BrightStart Sanford’s preschool area was fabulously decorated for the occasion.
Can you really make your own pizza without dressing the part? Well, even if you could, why would you – when the party incudes custom aprons and nifty chef hats! Then, for the ultimate deep dive into the pizzeria theme it’s the mustache, which was worn well and enjoyed by … most of the preschoolers.

While helpful staff were always at the ready, each little chef hand rolled their dough and applied toppings. Then their custom creations were whisked off to the oven. While waiting for lunch everyone decorated take home boxes and had fun with pizza stickers.
Many, many thanks go out to Crystal, Ken and Arden for their incredible generosity, and for sharing their family’s special day with everyone at BrightStart.
It’s time to serve up a fresh photo gallery.
Bon appétit!
