Plenty of Love to Go Around
We’ve been enjoying all sorts of February fun! First we’re checking in at BrightStart Sanford where the patients were just seeing red for Cupid’s special day.
BrightStart families really showed their heart with an abundance of Valentine gifts, cards and treats for patients.
Anytime is a good time for some art, and there was plenty on display from handprint projects to heart-shaped pizza projects. (Pizza of the paper variety, anyway).
What’s a Valentine celebration without some music? Mister Ford was on hand from Joyful Music Therapy, and patients got to kick out the jams with some of their favorite sing-alongs.
Out west, BrightStart Winter Garden patients were also busy with art projects and welcomed Dr. Karol Velasquez MD.
Dr. Velasquez is a Pediatric Resident with the AdventHealth system, and currently sees patients at the Winter Park practice.
Originally from Columbia, Dr. Velasquez is enjoying her residency in Florida. This was her first exposure to the PPEC program and she made quite a few new friends! You can learn more about Dr. Velasquez here.
Winter Garden’s busy day included some Mardi Gras themed projects and fun in the sun on the playground.
