Getting Acquainted with Orange & Yellow
Thursday was a regular day of nursing, therapy and love at BrightStart Orlando. It was exactly what was ordered for a visit from Dr. Michael Valente MD.
This visit was the result of coordination between Nemours and BrightStart Pediatrics Program Director Linda Brown.
November is in full swing at BrightStart Orlando with decorations and fun Thanksgiving artwork and activities.
Dr. Valente was familiar with the PPEC model but got an in-depth tour of BrightStart Orlando with Linda. He also received a detailed clinical review with Director of Nursing Karen Peters.
As he completes his post-residency training, Dr. Valente is looking to stay in the Orlando area and is enjoying his pediatric specialization. A rather quiet day at Orlando was the perfect opportunity to visit with nursing and therapy staff as well as make some new friends among patients. You can learn more about Dr. Valente here.
