Winter Park meets Winter Garden

Best way to spend a hot Florida Tuesday morning in August: Visit BrightStart Pediatrics!

BrightStart Winter Garden welcomed Dr. Farwa Rubab as part of AdventHealth’s rotation for their pediatric residents.

Dr. Rubab is currently seeing patients in Winter Park and said she was especially interested in the medically complex population.

She toured the Winter Garden facility with BrightStart President Linda Brown and went for a clinical deep dive with Nursing Director Karen Peters.

She also got time to visit with Speech and Physical therapy for a complete understanding of how the our PPEC model gives patients the bright start they need.

*BrightStart’s “Summer of Reading” has been a huge hit with the infants.*

Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Rubab shared fascinating insight into the differences in care and resources for medically fragile children in that county. She plans to continue her career in the United States.
